| Fascinated
by the instruments made in Cremona in the Classical Period , this is
wher I find inspiration for my making . |

I
use for my violins either a Carlo Bergonzi
Model or a late Guarneri Del Gesu ,
depending of
the type
of sound I am looking for . I
take great care to the choice of wood , the
spruce I use comes from the Italian Alps and the flamed maple from
Bosnia or
Romania. |

My
instruments have a powerful and warm tone , and musicians often says
that they are easy to
play and have a lot of precision in the articulation of sound . I take
great care to the set up of my instruments to obtain the best playing
confort (
shape of the neck ,fingerboard , bridge curvature ...) |
||||||||
|
My Violas
are made on a Giacommo Genaro Model ,( he was working with the Amati
Family) it
combines a very pure and perfect outline and all the best acoustic
properties . |
||||||||
|
In 2004 , I
received a first prize for violin in the
London international violin making competition . My instruments are
played by
students and Soloist in Europe and in the USA ; |
